RocK Project and US TROOPS
We are steadily working in the studio and working on fund raising for the ALBUM and TOUR! Thank you so much to all of those who have added your name or logo to my guitar or gear to help fund my efforts! As I included in the fund raising video I will be donating some of the proceeds to help others as this project and any that I am involved in is not all about me! People are giving to me to help me while I work and it’s also my duty to give to others in the same way. We can never give enough to our troops!
I have a number of friends on Myspace and Facebook that are currently overseas in the sand box fighting for our country. One of the soldiers I met on Myspace is PFC J. Bryan Hotz. I have never met him in person, but I thought it would be super to use some of the donation funds to send some care packages to Bryan and his battery of 130 soldiers while they are there. I put posters, t-shirts and of course, candy! I almost ate the candy before I got it in the box!
I wish I had enough to give to the entire battalion of 1,200 troops! So for now I’ll send what I have.

I’m sending out another care package which is pretty packed on Saturday, November 28th and then again on the following Saturday, December 5th. If you would like to pitch in anything feel free to do so! Right now it’s just me sending. If you choose to, I will take pics and post them up to show the packages with your stuff included so you can see it’s actually being sent or that your funds actually do help me in the shipping costs.

The heroes and sheroes have left our home to fight for us and we should all be joining in to let them know we are praying for them and show by our actions that we care. Just put yourself in their shoes, especially now that the holidays are here! You can donate to help me pay for shipping costs or send items for me to place in the care package or write a letter of gratitude. You can email a letter to me and I will include it – heather@heather-williams.com. Please email me and let me know if you would like to join in with me and do more! Here is a list of items Bryan sent me that they could use. http://www.heather-williams.com/pictures_soldierslist.html
If you’re wondering if the packages actually get there?! Yes, they do! Bryan has sent me a few pics and I have more on my website on the “Picture” page http://www.heather-williams.com/pictures_soldiers.html. I was so excited to see that it got there. I often wonder about some of the online care package sites, if what you send or the donation of your money actually helps. So to fix that I’m doing it myself!
Bryan was wonderful to take photos. Most of us aren’t rolling in money right now, but if you look at the list of items in the link above you can get allot of that for under $5 to $10. That money is a small amount considering the magnitude of what each soldier is giving up to fight for us.

I want to say thank you again and let those you have helped donate money to me know how much I appreciate your thoughtfulness! In return I’m working hard and giving to others as well
It all comes around in full circle, at least with me it does ![]()
Keep On Rock’N! Heather
