Posted by willheat on Feb 5, 2010 in Uncategorized

I made the CAST! Rock Camp, VH1, Mark Burnett Productions, TV Show!

I’m so amp’d about it! Make sure to follow me as I will be active on my Twitter, Myspace, Facebook and my personal site http://www.heather-williams.com throughout the whole process!

Hopefully this will allow new opportunities for me with my multitude of short and long term goals, but also it will allow me an opportunity to draw more attention to our SOLDIERS! At some point when it’s not just me managing myself and I have a larger team I can get more involved with other charities and ways of giving back to those in need. That’s 1 of my long term goals. It’s not all about #1.

Below is one of the many press releases and info off the internet about the show! YEEEAAA!! Drop me a line sometime, would love to hear from you! ;-)

NEWS
Update: Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy Camp – BRET MICHAELS, MICHAEL ANTHONY, LEMMY, ACE FREHLEY, LITA FORD And KIP WINGER Among Confirmed Mentors.

Posted on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at 11:55:18 EST

Aspiring rock stars attending this year’s Los Angeles Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy Camp will not only have their chance to perform alongside members of KISS, VAN HALEN, POISON, MOTÖRHEAD, TRAFFIC and WINGER – they’ll also be part of a new VH1 Classic reality series.

Set for February 23rd – 28th at a variety of locations throughout the Los Angeles music community, the acclaimed musical adventure takes attendees through grueling and joyful days like those of their favorite musicians. Each day a new thrilling challenge exists for the “rock campers” from the audition process, to forming bands, writing and recording music and finally culminating in a “battle of the bands” concert at a legendary Los Angeles venue.

The participants are led through day-long sessions by some of the best in the music business. Already onboard to mentor the rock campers:

BRET MICHAELS (Poison),
ACE FREHLEY (KISS),
Michael Anthony (ex-Van Halen, CHICKENFOOT),
Mark Farner (formerly of GRAND FUNK RAILROAD),
LITA FORD (ex-THE RUNAWAYS),
Lemmy Kilmister (Motörhead),
Dave Mason (Traffic),
Kip Winger (Winger),
BRUCE KULICK (KISS),
GARY HOEY (solo artist),
Teddy Andreadis (GUNS N’ ROSES),
Mark Hudson (producer, songwriter – AEROSMITH),
Spike Edney (QUEEN),
Sandy Gennaro (JOAN JETT, PAT TRAVERS BAND),
Jeff Foskett (BEACH BOYS),
Rami Jaffee (FOO FIGHTERS),
Rudy Sarzo (QUIET RIOT, OZZY OSBOURNE)
RICHIE KOTZEN (solo artist).

All the while, Mark Burnett Productions will be on hand filming a four-episode, one-hour series that will air this July on VH1 classic. The new, hour-long, weekly docu-series will feature 15 musicians from a variety of backgrounds and cities as they go through the transformative process of becoming “rock stars.”

Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy Camp has been changing the lives of non-professional music lovers for years,” says Camp founder David Fishof, “and the rock & roll legends who mentor them also wind up inspired by the interactions.”

Airborne Andy Van Halen, COMBAT ROCKSTAR!

Posted by willheat on Jan 8, 2010 in Heather Williams, Music, Racing, Reality Show, driver, guitar, race car, soldiers

I made a quick little video since I haven’t in a while.  I LOVE helping the troops and I enjoy using the proceeds that are being donated to me for my ROCK project http://www.heather-williams.com/rock.htm and giving it back.  The world is not always about #1 :-)   We can all take a small fraction of our time to give something back that can easily make somebodies day.

These care packages are going to SGT Andrew Barnes.  He’s on my Top Friends list on my Myspace page and you can find him at http://www.myspace.com/5150andy.  Here’s a video of Andy in Afghanistan.  The truck was blown up while he was in it!

Just a little about Sergeant Andrew Barnes.  He was deployed from Oct. 2006 to Nov. 2007 to FOB Iskan Iraq, which lies on the banks of the Euphrates River.  He is currently deployed to FOB Sharana Afghanistan from Mar. 2009 to Feb. 2010.   He has been in the Army since June  2004.  Usually it takes 4 years to make Sergeant but he attained that rank at 2 years and 2 months.  A Paratrooper with the 1st Battalion 501st Infantry Airborne as a Sniper, Truck Commander and anything else they need!   He will be out of the military on Mar 2011 and wants to “shred for a living”.  Watch him shred in Afghanistan>

Andy said “I am deathly afraid of heights, yet I jump out of planes for a living and pay to do so as a hobby.  So if that’s not 5150 I don’t know what is, haha. I have 18 combat jumps and 36 free fall.   5150 is my lifestyle and Van Halen is the soundtrack. “Those who dance are considered insane by those who cannot hear the music”.”  Check out his videos, amazing and entertaining guitar player!

Thank you SGT Barnes and to your Battery and Battalion!  We are praying for you and our other heroes and sheroes protecting us in a foreign land.

Signing of for now.  Don’t for get to subscribe to my BLOGS!

Oxygen, Snow and a neat site to help with your Diet.

Posted by willheat on Jan 7, 2010 in Heather Williams, Music, Racing, Reality Show, driver, guitar, race car, soldiers

Rolling along today and low and behold SNOW in ATLANTA!  So for my OXYGEN input today and for a change in scenery I went running my 3 mile run down to the boat ramp in the SNOW.  YEAHHH!  Had to crack the whip with my buddy to go with me to get some pics.  Below are some pics we snapped and I posted some more on my website http://heather-williams.com/pictures_myday.html. Plus a pic of my running shoes I absolutely love even if they have huge holes in the toes :-D

Swung by the grocery store earlier to pick up some manna for my doggies and everybody and their sister was there as though we were all going to be home bound for days because of the snow :-)  I hope it snows really hard so I can get the 4 wheeler, sled or dirt bike out tomorrow.

I’ve been getting allot of emails asking for some pointers on staying on track with healthy eating.  Right now I live by www.fitday.com.  At first the site was alittle tricky to learn to use, but not that hard.  Once you learn the system you can plug in what you eat and it will count calories, fat, protein, carbs, sugar, etc.  You can also plug in what cardio you did for the day and it will post the calories you burned.  I stay on a pretty steady same food every day routine.  My biggest weakness is SUGAR! mmhhh!  Skittles, Jelly Beans, Twizzlers, Mike & Ikes, Laffy Taffy and Junior Mints.  That’s all I can think of right now because I would really like to have some of them, but it’s after 7pm and I try not to eating anything after that time.  If there are other diet/food intake sites that you use I would love to hear about it!  Always looking for something new to add for some excitement to my diet/cardio world.

You Rock!

TTYS,  Heather

Female Soldier, IRAQ, Care Packages….

Posted by willheat on Dec 24, 2009 in Heather Williams, Music, Racing, Reality Show, driver, guitar, race car, soldiers

MERRY, MERRY, MERRY CHRISTMAS and a wonderful New Year to you!  Have you already set your NEW YEARS short and long term GOALS?  Mine rotate all year round and I’m always adding in new ones.  I have two MAJOR New Years resolutions I am aiming for this year! 1. Start smoking and 2. Gain loads of weight! :-D JK!  I’d love to hear what your new goals are and they better be as good as my new ones! ;-)

I mailed out another care package and this one went to Lyndsie McDaniel.  She’s currently in IRAQ and would love to get some more stuff!  I packed her box down with a LOAD of magazines, some of my ESPN X GAMES posters and wet wipes.  Since I rarely watch TV my brother gave me some DVD’s to ship to her and her battery. I’m shipping another package out on Monday.

I mentioned before in a previous BLOG that the $10 or more that Backers fund to my project  (Here’s how if you would like to http://www.heather-williams.com/rock.htm ) get their name added on my guitar and sites, that some of the proceeds go towards helping me ship out items to our heroes and sheroes fighting for our country.  I also have a donation page specifically set up for donating only to the troops care packages> http://heather-williams.com/pictures_soldiers.html

Lyndsie is a single mama of two boys (3 1/2 yr old and 1 1/2 yr old) and has 6-7 months to go in IRAQ before she sets foot back in the States to see her babies and family.  Please keep her and all of our soldiers in your prayers! I would love to send out a package a day if I could.  The post office has flat rate boxes that hold up to 70lbs and it’s only $12 per box.  I was able to get the cylinders of wet wipes for only $1.50.  It doesn’t take much to purchase some needful items, package them up and head to the P.O.

I have added a number of new photos of Lyndsie and her battery on my site http://heather-williams.com/pictures_soldiers.html I would like to especially thank BARRY MILLER for his donation and helping me send out the last care packages sent to the troops!

CHRISTMAS is a wonderful time to enjoy giving! Thank you to all my Facebook, Myspace and Twitter ROCKSTARS ;-D I am very grateful for your friendship!  Now I’m off to start smoking and gaining weight! :-D   Heather

RocK Project and US TROOPS

Posted by willheat on Nov 23, 2009 in Heather Williams, Music, Racing, Reality Show, soldiers

We are steadily working in the studio and working on fund raising for the ALBUM and TOUR! Thank you so much to all of those who have added your name or logo to my guitar or gear to help fund my efforts! As I included in the fund raising video I will be donating some of the proceeds to help others as this project and any that I am involved in is not all about me! People are giving to me to help me while I work and it’s also my duty to give to others in the same way.  We can never give enough to our troops!

I have a number of friends on Myspace and Facebook that are currently overseas in the sand box fighting for our country. One of the soldiers I met on Myspace is PFC J. Bryan Hotz. I have never met him in person, but I thought it would be super to use some of the donation funds to send some care packages to Bryan and his battery of 130 soldiers while they are there. I put posters, t-shirts and of course, candy! I almost ate the candy before I got it in the box! :-) I wish I had enough to give to the entire battalion of 1,200 troops! So for now I’ll send what I have.

I’m sending out another care package which is pretty packed on Saturday, November 28th and then again on the following Saturday, December 5th. If you would like to pitch in anything feel free to do so! Right now it’s just me sending. If you choose to, I will take pics and post them up to show the packages with your stuff included so you can see it’s actually being sent or that your funds actually do help me in the shipping costs.

The heroes and sheroes have left our home to fight for us and we should all be joining in to let them know we are praying for them and show by our actions that we care. Just put yourself in their shoes, especially now that the holidays are here! You can donate to help me pay for shipping costs or send items for me to place in the care package or write a letter of gratitude. You can email a letter to me and I will include it – heather@heather-williams.com. Please email me and let me know if you would like to join in with me and do more! Here is a list of items Bryan sent me that they could use. http://www.heather-williams.com/pictures_soldierslist.html

If you’re wondering if the packages actually get there?! Yes, they do! Bryan has sent me a few pics and I have more on my website on the “Picture” page http://www.heather-williams.com/pictures_soldiers.html. I was so excited to see that it got there. I often wonder about some of the online care package sites, if what you send or the donation of your money actually helps. So to fix that I’m doing it myself! :-) Bryan was wonderful to take photos. Most of us aren’t rolling in money right now, but if you look at the list of items in the link above you can get allot of that for under $5 to $10. That money is a small amount considering the magnitude of what each soldier is giving up to fight for us.

I want to say thank you again and let those you have helped donate money to me know how much I appreciate your thoughtfulness! In return I’m working hard and giving to others as well :-D It all comes around in full circle, at least with me it does :-)

Keep On Rock’N! Heather
Feel free to email me at heather@heather-williams.com or contact me through my site where you can donate funds or let me know how you would like to help! http://www.heather-williams.com

Check out the photo album on my website to see more pics of the troops!  HAPPY ROCK’N THANKSGIVING HOLIDAYS TO YOU AND OUR TROOPS!

Tune posted, Metallica and Pirelli Tires

Posted by willheat on Oct 13, 2009 in Uncategorized

Howdy!  If you go to my home page of my website you can here a NEW tune posted! http://www.heather-williams.com  This is a rough mix and quick preview of our latest efforts. We have been working extremely hard in the studio and working on fundraising for the ALBUM and TOUR!

Sunday, I met up with photographer Chris Ozment, photographer of the rock stars & celebrities, at a private motocross track.  He took some OUTSTANDING pics!  You can see more here http://heather-williams.com/pictures_motocross.html.

I’ve just start putting in more seat time on my dirt bike.  I plan would love to do some motocross races starting up in November or December.  A rock’n road racer friend, Mark Brereton, who has worked for Pirelli Tires for over 20 years has helped in putting together a super Pirelli Tire sponsorship for me for racing.  As you know, playing sports, racing, music, etc. you need all the help you can get.  It’s not a one man job, it’s a supportive team.  Sponsorship and people that support your efforts can sometimes make the difference of you participating in your passion or not!  We are doing some cross promotion with Pirelli Tire.  They are also being promoted on my music gear, right on my Marshall amp!

The other weekend I got to experience my first Metallica concert! It was such a blast! The band put on a 360 show and had loads of pyro effects. Guitarist Kirk Hammett was Fantabuloso and I would love to have one of his new signature Wah pedals.  He wahhed allot, if that is a word :-D Lots of fun!

Charities on my music gear!

Posted by willheat on Oct 4, 2009 in Heather Williams, Music, Racing

Seems that I may eventually have my music gear marked up with Charities!  I’ve been working super hard trying to get the word out about my ALBUM & TOUR fundraiser.  It’s allot of work, but I love it!  I have picked up 2 Backers that have pledged donations and didn’t have a business to advertise on a Logo.  Sooo, I had this great idea to use the Backer’s favorite charity!

Barry Miller is backing my project and chose St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Are you on Twitter or Youtube?  My Twitter > www.twitter.com/willheat and YouTube > www.youtube.com/heatherwilliamstv. Check out Barry’s logo on my gear!  If you would like to become a Backer or add your Logo and name to my gear, check out my video and site www.heather-williams.com/rock.htm.

Add your name on my guitar as well for just $10!

View ALL the Backer’s here http://www.heather-williams.com/content_sponsors.html

Hope you have a wonderful weekend! I’ll have another fun BLOG tomorrow!  Going to see Metallica in concert rock out tonight in Atlanta.  I can’t wait! Send me a comment/feedback when you have time!

Reality Show Audition in The Keys

Posted by willheat on Sep 30, 2009 in Uncategorized

My reality show audition to The Keys.  The day I arrived I was met at the airport by some of the guys on the film crew who swept me away to the hotel room to change and jump on the dive boat. On the boat the film crew took allot of footage while we traveled out to the dive sites.  When we got to the site we loaded on our scuba gear and met another camera guy underwater.  The reason for the footage is that is will be used for promo material on television and also in the shows website.  Check out my new posted pics on my site http://www.heather-williams.com/pictures_tvmedia.html.

By the way, if you haven’t scuba dived yet, you have to try it sometime!  It’s way different than snorkeling and once in the water it’s so relaxing and beautiful.

Sorry, I can only tell so much info about the show.  I should find out within a week or two if I got the spot or not.  I’m nervous! Pray for me!  I will keep you posted as I hear word!  WORD! :-D

Check out my new YouTube video if you haven’t already! http://www.youtube.com/heatherwilliamstv

My agenda today – My contracting company has picked up work alittle bit, which is wonderful, so the guys are on another job and I’m going by myself to cut 3 separate lawns and maintenance. I love doing landscape work and plus helps me stay in shape! Then I have to record some vocal spots on the first tune we are working on for the album. The producer is heading out of town for a week so time is of the essence.  I just wanted to thank all of my Backers on the Album and Tour!  Check out who is helping me!  http://www.heather-williams.com/content_sponsors.html  If you haven’t joined up yet, take a look when you have a chance, you’ll like it!  http://www.heather-williams.com/rock.htm.  I do have some exciting news on my next couple of posts concerning some new Backers on my project.

By the way, you can comment and leave messages on the my BLOGS. Just click on “Comments” at the top right of each BLOG post. Hope to hear your input! :-D

Headed to The Keys and Ebay!

Posted by willheat on Sep 28, 2009 in Uncategorized

I found out late afternoon yesterday after recording vocals in the studio for my new rock album and tour http://www.heather-williams.com/rock.htm.  Don’t forget to check out my WiLD video! ;-)   that I was to pack for the Florida Keys to meet with a producer for a new reality show.  One thing I always remember is to not get to hyped up for these audtions because you’re not apart until the project is complete.  So, my flight leaves in the next couple of hours and I arrive in FLA around lunch where one of the guys from the film crew is to pick me up.  I’ll try to get some pics!

Check out my new Ebay page!  I have added some new t-shirts that we have and sell at the shows.  Plus I posted some of my #55 racing shirts.  FYI- I race dirt bikes (motocross).  I LOVE #55!  Grab a tee while we have them.  http://myworld.ebay.com/heather-williams/

Album is coming along pretty quick!  Lots of work though.  Recorded vocals all this weekend!  http://www.heather-williams.com

Keep on ROCK’N!
